Appendix 749. Resort Housing District (RH).

Intent. The Resort Housing (RH) District is intended to provide opportunities to locate and develop medium to high-density uses that are reliant on the transient population located in Horry County typically located to the east of the Intracoastal Waterway. Additionally, the RH district is intended to provide opportunities to locate and develop uses that are generally associated with the transient population in Horry County.

749.1. Permitted Uses.

(A)

Accessory uses that are subordinate and incidental to any permitted use below and on-site signage in accordance to the provisions of Article 10.

(B)

Camps/institutions (eleemosynary/religious).

(C)

Churches, synagogues, temples, and other places of worship subject to the provisions of Article 12.

(D)

Golf courses and accessory uses.

(E)

Hotels, motels, tourist homes, and convention facilities with lodging.

(F)

Multi-family housing (apartments, condos, and townhouses) as permitted in the GRn Zoning District.

Parking lots/garages subject to the provisions of Article 12.
