Appendix 753. Marine Industrial District (MI).
Intent . The purpose of the Marine Industrial District is primarily to provide adequate space for those water-dependent commercial and industrial uses that require direct marine access for their operation, such as full service marinas, marine transportation facilities, and tourist attractions which benefit from direct access to the waterways.

Dimensional Standards.
Uses, Structures and exterior storage and activities must meet the following setbacks unless otherwise stated.

Height: 50 ft. (3, 4)
Maximum coverage by structures parking and dry storage: 80% of gross area
All building codes must be met including separation and/or fire rating.
All uses and structures including boat slips, piers and docks must meet a minimum 50 ft. setback from all property lines exterior to the district except the AIWW.
All structures and accessory uses within 100 ft. of the AIWW or external district boundary are limited to maximum height of 35 ft.
Height limits do not apply to marine terminal equipment (e.g., cranes, boat lifts).
Minimum setback for outside storage of bulk materials must be 100 ft. from the AIWW and any wetlands.
