Appendix 1014. Nonconforming sign alterations.

(a)

A lawfully existing non-conforming on-site sign may be altered with the removal of another lawfully existing nonconforming on-site sign located on the property where the alteration is occurring.

(b)

A lawfully existing non-conforming off-premises sign may be altered with the removal of another lawfully existing off-premises sign provided:

1.

The sign companies will have to own any sign or signs that are to be removed or altered.

2.

The sign or signs to be removed are of the same or greater square footage as the sign or signs to be altered.
