§ 11-2-5. Pre-bid conferences.

Latest version.
  • Pre-bid conferences may be conducted to explain the procurement requirements. They shall be announced to all prospective bidders known to have received an invitation for bids. A conference, if held, should be timed to occur long enough after the invitation for bids has been issued to allow procurement participants to become familiar with it, but sufficiently before bid opening to allow consideration of the conference results in the preparation of bids. Nothing stated at the pre-bid conference shall change the invitation for bids unless a change is made by written amendment. A summary of the conference shall be made available to all the prospective bidders.
