§ 10.5-24. Requirements for setout, collection, and disposal of construction and demolition debris.

  • (a)

    In order to facilitate the conservation of vital natural resources through recycling, each person and commercial entity is encouraged to separate their construction and demolition debris from all other types of waste and to provide for the placement of such separated construction and demolition debris into suitable containers for pick up by a hauler.

    (b)

    In order to provide for public health and safety, all construction and demolition debris that has been placed into a suitable container for collection by a hauler and not recycled must be delivered to an appropriately licensed and DHEC permitted disposal facility.
