§ 15-58. Filling of vacancies; termination of service; attendance.

In the event of a vacancy caused by death, resignation, removal or otherwise, a successor shall be elected in the manner provided in section 5-51, to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term. Any member may be removed by the county council for good cause after hearing by council. Any member who shall miss three (3) consecutive regular meetings without valid reason, such as illness or pressing personal commitments, shall be considered a voluntary resignation by the member. The commission secretary shall keep the attendance records and indicate the same in the minutes of each meeting.
