§ 3-123. Acceptance of deeds; lease and conveyance of property.

The department is constituted an agency of Horry County and it shall accept for and on behalf of the county deeds from the federal government, state government or any of their agencies, or of any other person, to any property to be used for airport purposes and may hold, lease and convey such property in its discretion to further the interests of the county. Any lease or conveyance shall be approved when signed by a majority of the members of the county council.
