 Chapter 7. COURTS

  § 7-2. Clerk of court's fees.

Latest version.

  • The following schedule of recording fees shall be charged by the county's clerk of court:

    (1)

    Financing statement, two dollars ($2.00);

    (2)

    Termination statement, one dollar ($1.00);

    (3)

    Bill of sale, without copy one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of one (1));

    (4)

    Deed of conveyance not over two (2) pages, with or without dower, three dollars ($3.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of two (2));

    (5)

    Lease, three dollars ($3.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page in excess of two (2));

    (6)

    Mechanic's lien, four dollars ($4.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of one (1));

    (7)

    Mortgage, real estate, short form, with or without dower, three dollars ($3.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of two (2));

    (8)

    Plats, (eight and one-half (8½) inches by fourteen (14) inches), and under, two dollars ($2.00);

    (9)

    Plats over eight and one-half (8½) inches, by fourteen (14) inches, four dollars ($4.00); Condominium plats, two dollars ($2.00) per page;

    (10)

    Power of attorney, three dollars ($3.00) (plus fifty cents ($0.50) for state stamps) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of two (2));

    (11)

    Right-of-way and easement over real property three dollars ($3.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of two (2));

    (12)

    Change of name, five dollars ($5.00);

    (13)

    Judgment or lis pendens (Any first paper filed), twelve dollars fifteen cents ($12.15);

    (14)

    Tax liens (state and federal), one dollar fifty cents ($1.50);

    (15)

    Lost form (satisfaction of mortgage), one dollar fifty cents ($1.50);

    (16)

    Real estate mortgage, satisfaction on original, fifty cents ($0.50);

    (17)

    Option, one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of one (1));

    (18)

    Partnership agreement, five dollars ($5.00);

    (19)

    Agreement, three dollars ($3.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of two (2));

    (20)

    Assignment, two dollars ($2.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page in excess of one (1));

    (21)

    Public bonds, ten dollars ($10.00);

    (22)

    Bond (official), no charge;

    (23)

    Release, two dollars ($2.00) (A charge of fifty cents ($0.50) per page for each page in excess of one (1));

    (24)

    Transfer, if stamped, twenty-five cents ($0.25);

    (25)

    Transfer, if pictured, one dollar ($1.00);

    (26)

    Transcript of judgment, five dollars ($5.00);

    (27)

    Articles of association (Plus fifteen cents ($0.15) per one hundred (100) words), five dollars ($5.00).
