Appendix 1203. Public or private cemeteries.

A.

Public or private cemeteries may be located in the LFA, FA, CFA, AG1, AG2, AG3, AG4, AG5, AG6, AG7, EIO, TRS, RE1, RE2, RE3, RE4, HC, RE, ME1, ME2, PR1, SF40/MSF40 Zoning Districts provided that:

1.

Such use is located on a site of at least one (1) acre;

2.

Such use includes no crematorium or dwelling unit other than for a caretaker;

3.

The location of all plots or structures within the cemetery meet the setback requirements for the district in which they are located; and

4.

The cemetery meets the platting and access requirements of the Horry County Land Development Regulations.
