§ 12.5-125. Wrecker response to accidents.

It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any wrecker or towing service to go to any road, highway, or other public property where an accident has occurred, where a disabled vehicle is located, or where in any other circumstance a vehicle may require towing within the unincorporated areas of Horry County unless the service is in response to a call from the owner/operator of the disabled vehicle or a government employee with competent jurisdiction and authority to make said request.
