§ 16-1. Driveway connections to be paved.

Latest version.
  • (a)

All new residential driveways must be constructed and paved from the highway right-of-way line to the edge of the road's surface. Asphalt paving is preferred; however, if the driveway is constructed of concrete, a construction joint must be placed on either side of the driveway drainage tile not closer than one (1) foot to the outer edge of the pipe. Driveways may be resurfaced with the same material that is approved for the street or road surfacing.

    (b)

The county building inspection department shall not issue a final inspection permit for new residents until the driveway connections have been paved as required.
