  • Intent. Community Retail Services (RE2) District is intended to provide opportunities to locate and develop businesses primarily engaged in the sale, rental, and provision of goods or merchandise for personal or household use. Uses with this district are generally located outside or on the edge of established residential developments along transportation corridors providing easy access to established business. Uses permitted in this district may freestanding or located in minor retail centers with out-parcel development. Uses permitted in this district are intended to not impair existing or future residential development.

    (D) Apparel and accessory stores All business types defined in SIC 56
    (E) Auto accessory stores
    (F) Car washes
    (G) Eating and drinking establishments All business types defined in SIC 5812 and 5813
    (H) Food stores such as grocery stores, meat/fish/fruit/vegetable markets (indoor only), dairy products, retail bakeries All business types defined in SIC 54
    (I) Funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories and mortuaries Business types defined in SIC 7261
